This is a case of common cold. 55 yrs. old men came with the complaints of coryza, sneezing in initial acute stage. He said, due to heavy rain and climatic change for 1 week, he got this complaint. I asked further cause. He said, it might be due to drinking contaminated water 1 day ago. But, I was not satisfied with his answer. I asked any emotional issues before his complaint. He said, "yes, my daughter has scolded me for some family issues. But I didn't talk her back. Within a hour, I got this complaint".

Based on this I gave STAPHYSARIA 1M (1DOSE). He came back to normal.

Most of the time we directly believe, what patient said to us (esp. causative factor). In this case he says, his complaints started due to weather change. But weather change happens since before one week. If it could be a cause, he might catch cold at the time of weather change or complaints developed gradually as we seen in bry and gels. so I enquired him regarding emotional cause. Here I had a point of REPRIMAND and SILENT GRIEF. Based on this, I selected staphysagria.
